If you read part two of my music discovery guide last week, you probably remember my third suggestion involving the discount bins at Ranch Records.

Well, as proof those bins can deliver great music, I found the following CDs in them a few days ago.

The album by Friends as well as the debut from Cold Specks made my best of 2012 list— with the latter even named eMusic's number one album of the year.
