Drummer Mel Brown has been around. In music circles, the guy's name is legendary and he's got the talent to back it up. Not only that, but Brown surrounds himself was fantastic musicians whenever he plays. That's why it's always a treat when he come to Bend.
For two days (and three shows) this weekend, The Mel Brown Septet will be jazzing up The Oxford Hotel and the Minnesota Ballroom. Sax, trombone, trumpet, piano, and drums will all be represented. So there will be a little something for everyone, no matter which jazz instrument you prefer.
