Swan Lake
The Eugene Ballet Company presents Odile (black swan) vs. Odete (white swan) in this story of good vs. evil. Classical choreography, sparkly costumes and sorcery make the feathers fly in a knock-down-drag-out-dance-off for the love of Prince Siegfried. Simon Wiesenthal: The Conscience of The Holocaust

The Horde and The Harem and The Beautiful Train Wrecks
The Horde and the Harem is a Seattle-based indie-folk band and is splitting the bill with The Beautiful Train Wrecks, an American roots-rock band from PDX and Bend. 21+. $5. 8 p.m. The Horned Hand 507 NW Colorado Ave.

Naive Melodies

Bachelor Butte Dog Derby
Sled dog races and skijoring (that's doggy drag racing on skis). Contestants compete from all over the NW with up to 30 dog teams racing distances from five to 25 miles. Free. 8:30 a.m. Wanoga Sno Park Cascade Lakes Highway.

Bend Urban Iditarod
The idea here is food drive plus zany costumes plus shopping carts plus beer. Get yourself a cart (westside Safeway is doing loaners if you buy your 30 lbs of food to donate there), dress up, and prepare to run all over town visiting breweries, blocking traffic, etc. Visit Bend Urban Iditarod on Facebook to sign up. 11 a.m. GoodLife Brewing, 70 SW Century Dr.

Muse Women's Conference
Put on by the local women's group Shine Global, MUSE celebrates International Women's Day and kicks off Women's History Month with motivational speakers and workshops. Taste of the Town and Meal of the Year
These two fundraisers for COCC's foundation, which provides scholarships for students, are two of Bend's best foodie events.
