Friday Mixtape! Sasquatch: Day Three

There are certainly those who will wake up on Sunday morning—the third and final day of the SASQUATCH! Music Festival—excited to see headliners like iconic rockers Queens of the Stone Age and pop hip hop artist Kid Cudi, but there will also be those lamenting the fact that on day three, there really ought to be one more day of music.

For the first time since 2010, the festival isn’t a four-day affair.

Still, the event’s organizers did manage to pack quite a lot of great music into the shortened schedule and the last day is no exception. Dig into this Friday Mixtape for proof.

Colorado based song-crafter John Grant kicks things off at 1 p.m. on Sunday with his—at times—LCD Soundsystem brand of psych pop and Austin Texas blues rock is superbly represented by festival veteran Black Joe Lewis.

One of the can’t-miss shows of the day is Afro-beat multi-instrumentalist tUnE-yArDs who will also open for The National May 23 at Bend’s Les Schwab Amphitheatre.
