The Deschutes County Sheriff’s office is putting a new twist on rodeos. Offering children ages 4-12 the chance to participate in a Bike Rodeo. According to a media release by Sheriff’s Office, the Rodeo will include bike safety, helmet inspection, road safety and “much, much more!”
Lasting from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday June 4, the event, which is located at Sisters Elementary School, 611 E. Cascade Ave., will present children with important bike safety lessons. While no registration is required, children must bring their bike, a helmet and an adult to accompany them.
