I think that Bruce Miller should explore the entire Oregon Coast before he forms an opinion. The Oregon Coast has one of the most different forms of landscapes of any coastlines in the world. Every dune, lake, river, and mountain is different. Lincoln City is the ugliest of all. Lincoln City was over-developed by the same type that over-developed this area. As far as weather, he should talk to an Oregonian to find out when are the best seasons to visit the coast. As far as Oregon is concerned, we don't have the biggest of everything, but we have the biggest variety of landscape of any state. He should feel lucky that he lives within 5 hours of all of it. I am always finding beautiful spots in this state that I've never seen before. Nobody asked you to move here Bruce, and I'm sure nobody will shed any tears when you leave.
