ODOT's Iffy Official Story

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...a beautiful day for a neighbor...Hi neighbors, can we all say boondoggle? That's the word of the day!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...a beautiful day for a neighbor...Hi neighbors, can we all say boondoggle? That's the word of the day!

ODOT has recently announced in the "other" paper, that they will be repaving our parkway to the tune of $4.4 million! I wonder how long this "band-aid" will last!? I recall seeing an article in The Source (April 9th, Road to No Where) that addressed issues with ODOT'S integrity.

Rumor has it Mr. Perry was ultimately terminated for coming forward with allegations of abuse of ODOT's handling of materials and workmanship. Now ODOT is expecting us to drink the "Kool-aid" yet again, and believe that weather, traffic and studded tire use is the cause of our parkway woes. Come on!

Am I the only one that notices that the ruts are not evenly dispersed? And since when do studs cause potholes? Mr. Perry said this was caused by improper compaction - that makes more sense! Come on people, wake up! Maybe TS Weekly could go ask ODOT's PR gurus, to explain those failing tests that were presented a year ago, which they steadfastly deny.

How 'bout it Eric, can we get a follow-up on "Road to No Where"?
