Kitties! More than 200 of them! Two days of cats featuring 30 different breeds from long hair to short hair, and even those weird looking cats with no hair at all. These meowmers compete for awards and ribbons dispensed by professional cat judges. Doubletree Hotel. 9 a.m.

The Lumineers

I'm going to be honest; I first heard this band in a cell phone commercial. I guess it just goes to show how catchy and mainstream-friendly their folk-pop is. The Denver band released their first album in April, but had already secured their spot in the indie-folk canon with their uber-likable song "Ho, Hey," which ultimately peaked at #11 on the Billboard top 200. The group has toured with Old Crow Medicine Show, played several large music festivals, and has announced a tour opening for Dave Matthews Band in December—an impressive resume for up-and-comers. Expect stomp-folk greatness from this three piece. Crystal Ballroom. 8 p.m.

The Glass Menagerie

Tennessee William's classic play is brought to life by the Seattle Repertory Theater, and no, it's not the one with Stella. An aging Southern Bell longs for her youth and a better life for her children as she schemes to marry off her painfully shy daughter. Her boozing, movie-loving and poetic son, Tom, narrates the ensuing debacle involving a glass unicorn. Seattle Repertory Theatre. 7:30 p.m.
