Bedtime stories—emphasis on bedtime. A group of storytellers share their best tales of woe and wonder under the sheets and everywhere else things get sexy and strange. More than just a voyeuristic kiss and tell, these brave souls range from bestselling authors to sex industry professionals. Unscripted and totally true (or so they say), we're expecting a grown-up cross between The Moth and YM's "Say Anything." 7 pm, Mississippi Studios, $14-$16.

Control Top featuring Rye Rye

This weekend is Portland Pride, which means the waterfront will be bustling with rainbow-clad revelers, the streets will be filled with queens on parade and the bars will be hopping with parties. Even for the initiated, it's likely to get a bit overwhelming. In the midst of the chaos, there's a little jewel called Control Top. Held at an intimate but not overcrowded indoor/outdoor venue, this year's party features Rye Rye. The rapper—known for her collaborations with M.I.A. and Robyn—will bring her high energy, danceable beats and party-time lyrics to this popular annual event. 9 pm, White Owl Social Club, $12-$15.
