Hellbound Glory, Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy and the Infamous Stringdusters

The Horned Hand has just announced two new shows. August 15th the outlaw-insurgent-country-quartet HellBound Glory takes the stage with The Johnson Creek Stranglers. Reno based Hellbound Glory is an old-school country band that prides itself on playing honest, straight up country (without a trace of pop) and has shared the stage with the likes of David Allan Coe, Reverend Horton Heat, Drive-By-Truckers, Hank III, and Nashville Pussy. On August 24th Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy returns to Bend with local band The Whistle Pigs opening up. Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy put on one helleva show churning out a blend of punk, bluegrass and old-timey Dixieland. Both shows start at 9pm and tickets are $7 in advance at Bendticket.com and $8 at the door.

Parallel 44 is bringing bluegrass band The Infamous Stringdusters to Bend to perform at the Domino Room on November 2nd. Their Fall Silver Sky Tour consists of some mighty fine pickin’ and singin’ as evidenced on their track “Don’t Mean Nothin’. Polecat will open the show. Tickets are $18 in advance at Bendticket.com and $20 at the door.
