Craig, who won the Singlespeed 'Cross World champs in Dec., rode alone during most of yesterday's race. Bend's Brennan Wodtli also lined up in the men's elite field and finished 43rd out of 54 finishers.

Racing continues today and runs through the weekend, culminating with the elite men and women's races on Sunday afternoon. Aside from Craig and Wodtli, Bend's Ryan Trebon, Barry Wicks, Alex Candelario and Chris Jones will also toe the line on Sunday.
