Now, it's way too soon to declare how Trevor Noah's run on The Daily Show will turn out, but his already assured and biting tenure is off to a good start. But no matter how much we collectively enjoy Noah, the lack of Jon Stewart on our television screens does leave a fairly gaping hole that Noah, Colbert and John Oliver can't quite fill. Well, good news everyone! Jon Stewart is going to be back sooner rather than later as he has just penned a four-year contract with HBO. According to Deadline
, his production pact incorporates him "creating digital content for the pay-cable channel's multiple online platforms." He will focus on "short form digital content before moving onto other projects at a later date." Regardless of the form it comes in, the swift retirement of Stewart seems to be over and we can all go on with our lives just a little bit happier.
