The Cascade Wedding Show, formerly known as Central Oregon Wedding and Event Show
, will premiere on January 14, 2017 at the Riverhouse on the Deschutes Convention Center
with a new name and a reimagined bridal experience.
New event producers Lay It Out Events
have a renewed vision for the event, which is the only wedding show in Central Oregon and plan to turn the expo into an elegant experience for the bride to be as well as a successful marketing opportunity for vendors.
Attendees can expect to see expanded, hands-on programming including educational presentations on topics including wedding budget management and financial planning, how to choose the right venue, DIY bridal techniques and trends, gift registry tools and tips, etiquette lessons, and more. Vendors will also be invited into the educational programming offering workshops on ballroom dancing, honeymoon planning, and how to create the ultimate bridal survival toolkit.
Each attendee will receive a wedding planner favor and giveaways will be hourly. Look for Central Oregon’s first “Wedding Wars” where vendors will team up to plan a wedding theme and present it on stage. The losing teams will offer special discounts to the crowd making Wedding Wars a must-see for entertainment and inspiration.
Vendor areas will be divided into five main sections: Inspiration Alley (cakes, flowers, photographers); Design It (signage, invitations, guestbooks, stationary); Pamper Yourself; Location, Location, Location; and Eat, Drink and Be Married.
Tickets will be available for pre-sale for $5 each, or $10 at the door.
