Now that it’s officially summer, it’s time for weekends jam-packed with events throughout Central Oregon. There’s no shortage of live music this weekend, so if you’re ready to dance, you’ve come to the right place. Here are a few music-related events to get down at this weekend.
We wrote about headliner Shooter Jennings in this week’s paper, but he’s not the only musician serenading diners at Bend’s biggest food party. Here’s the lineup for all of the music at The Bite:
6:45pm - Woebegone
1:30pm - Chiringa
4:30pm - Trailer 31
Don’t miss the “supple rock” of Woebegone, local favorites who play right before Shooter Jennings on Saturday night. If you can’t make it to the Chiringa CD release show happening tonight at The Old Stone, catch them downtown at The Bite at
In addition to Bite of Bend, this weekend features a variety of Pride events to celebrate LGBTQ equality. Check out these events in addition to the main festivities!

Who doesn’t love free music? Head down to the Les Schwab Amphitheater for free funky jams from Bend’s very own Elektrapod.
Looking for more? There’s Cruxapalooza on Saturday featuring the likes of Precious Byrd and may more, Caravan of Glam at Volcanic Theatre Pub on Saturday, Paul Simon on Saturday if you were lucky enough to get a ticket and so much more. It seems like wherever you turn this weekend, you’ll find plenty of live music, good eats and good times.
Have fun and stay safe out there this weekend!
