Who wants to bet on the Bulletin?

I'm going to make a small wager right now with anyone who wants to take me up on it. I'll wager a Taco Stand smothered

I'm going to make a small wager right now with anyone who wants to take me up on it. I'll wager a Taco Stand smothered burrito that the Bulletin leads tomorrow's A section with a story and photo about the Over the Hill golf tourney in Sunriver. To use a golf analogy here, I'm taking Tiger against the field. In other words, you don't have to tell me what story it is that will carry A1 besides the Tradition, you just have to bet that they'll lead something-anything- besides the Tradition tomorrow. If you're counting, you'd know that they've led the paper the last three days with the golf tourney -- including today's strange pioneer cemetery story -- and the tourney hadn't even started. But c'mon anything could happen between now and press time. The pope could die, and asteroid could hit the earth, Mirror Pond dam could burst, anything people!

So who out there is willing to bet that a catastrophic event or a sudden outbreak of news judgment will pre-empt another freaking "golly gee" golf story? Don't bet on it.

Or will you?
