4 Peaks Cuts Ticket Prices! New 2009 Location!

Next weekend just got a bit more affordable for music fans as the folks at the helm of next weekend's 4 Peaks Music Festival announced today that they'll be cutting the ticket prices for the second annual gathering in Tumalo. Organizers also announced that the festival will move from it's Rockin' A Ranch location in 2009.

While it was previously announced that tickets would increase on the day of the festival, organizers are now keeping the two-day (camping included) passes at $76.50 while also reducing single-day tickets. To get into Friday's show, tickets are $25 while an all-day pass to Saturday's music will run you $35. Those wishing to camp who didn't purchase a two-day pass can enter the campgrounds for an additional $20.

Also, the festival announced today in a letter to neighbors of the pastoral Tumalo area that's home to the 80-acre festival that the July 25-26 gathering will be the last event at the location. 4 Peaks co-founder Eric Walton said 4 Peaks organizers had yet to begin searching for a new location for 2009, but said a new home is key to the festival's mission to expand in years to come.

Tickets are available through the 4peaksmusic.com, at Ranch Records, or at the festival.

Pick up next week's (7/23) issue of the Source for much more 4 Peaks coverage.
