There was a steady curtain of wet snow falling outside the Silver Moon Brewing Co. on Friday night, but inside things were pleasantly sweaty, with a packed house getting down to the sounds of Portland's Quick & Easy Boys.
Given the overwhelming turnout, chances are we'll see this power trio and their honky tonk collides with funk sound again. And when I say collision of funk and honky tonk, that's exactly what happened at the show. There were some country folks replete in camouflage and boots who came out for the show, possibly because of the band's name, but then stuck around for a bit to try their hand at getting down to funk music. Great to see folks getting along, eh?
