Ski Film Season is Undwerway with Teton Gravity Research's "Deeper" at the Tower

Jeremy Jones' new snowboarding film, "Deeper" screens tonight at Bend's Tower Theatre.

It's been cold the last few mornings, hasn't it? Kinda making you think about winter, isn't it?

Yeah, me too...except for the fact that it's like 80 degrees out there today. But if you're looking to get into mountain mode, hit up tonight's screening of Teton Gravity Research's new film, Deeper at the Tower Theatre.

The film strays from the common ski/board film formula in that it's essentially a documentary about legendary rider Jeremy Jones (along with other riders) and his trips deep into undiscovered big-mountain territory. The film follows Jones as he spends days at a time treking and camping in hostile climates in order to ride untouched fields of snow.

Take a look at the trailer below. The film begins at 8pm and is $15 at the door.
