If you've driven down Highway 20 towards Sisters in the past few months, you've probably seen the signs for the impending opening of a new Bend Distillery distillery, tasting room and farm. Well, that opening is this weekend. Bend Distillery, which recently sold their downtown Martini Bar location to the bar's manager (who reopened as the Mad Happy Lounge), is transferring their resources to the new distillery.

The makers of craft liquors including Crater Lake Vodka, Cascade Mountain Gin and the 100-times filtered Diamond 100 Vodka will hold the new location's grand opening this Saturday, September 18 from noon to 6pm. Head on down to 19330 Pinehurst Rd. for sampling, tours and cyclocross races. Because what goes better with liquor than cyclocross?
