Bend is the Champion

Are you tired of arguing with your Portland friends about how Bend's beers can measure up to any of their city's brews? Well, now you've got some evidence, thanks to Saturday's Beer Olympics at Old Mill Brew Werks, which featured a series of blind tastings that paired Bend beers against their Portland counterparts in 10 head-to-head rounds.
The 40 or so attendees voted for their preferred beer of each round and at the end of the day, Bend won by one round and Three Creeks' Rudolph Imperial Red Ale took home the Best in Show award for highest ranked beer. That may not be scientific evidence, but it should be enough for you to harass all the high-and-mighty PDX beer geeks you know.

For all of you who would rather have a skilled chef prepare your fixins, here's a list of restaurants serving Thanksgiving Dinner, courtesy of Visit Bend.
