Cash'd Out Walked the Line at the Domino Room Last Night and Here's Some Video

The Source went to see Cash'd Out at the Domino Room and we've returned with video.

My friends and I had been pretty pumped since finding out Cash'd Out, a Johnny Cash tribute band, was coming to Bend and finally last night we got to enjoy the Man in Black's tunes, live. Cash'd Out has been called the next best thing to Cash himself, and I imagine that's pretty on par, being too young to have ever seen him live myself.

Douglas Benson and his crew played all of Cash's hits, a few lesser known songs, and went on for a solid two hours. Benson alternated between Pabst Blue Ribbon, which sat nicely in a cup holder attached to his mic stand, and a bottle of Jack Daniels, all while bringing Cash's song to life.

The show was awesome, the only let down musically was that there was no June Carter to stand in so we could here "Jackson", which was by far the most screamed out request. The crowd went wild when the band started in "Ring of Fire" though. Check out the video below to see the sing-a-long in action.

I got a little nervous there for awhile when a fight broke out right up front. It started with some screaming and expletives, escalated to some dude spitting in an others face, and concluded with the spitter being hauled away by security, though he resisted. Quite an interesting night, to say the least.

If you missed last nights show, don't worry, Benson promised they'd be back. He thought they would be back as early as May of this year. We're crossing our fingers.
