Hey, John Sabo (Mailbox, 9/2 "Missed Boots): Maybe you need to try getting news from somewhere other than Faux Newds. The White House issued a press release that Michelle paid for the trip herself not the taxpayers. The Obamas can afford it. As for Imam Rauf, he was sent to Bahrain for the same reason Bush sent him numerous times years ago: he's a moderate who has been working to improve the U.S.

image in the Muslim world. And he's not the rich guy who's funding the community center which is not at "Ground Zero." The deep pockets guy is the one Jon Stewart exposed a week ago, a Saudi billionaire who is the largest shareholder, other than the Murdock family, of Rupert Murdock's News Corp., the owner of Faux Newds. You ought to watch Jon Stewart and the other Comedy Central news guys, they are far more accurate than the Faux Republican Propaganda Network. Indeed, a few years ago the Pew Organization found in a survey that the most knowledgeable consumers of news get their news from Comedy Central. The least knowledgeable watch Faux.
