Diesel Particulate. Its everywhere, and considered the number one toxic hazard in Oregon’s air. Throughout Oregon, concentrations of diesel particulate matter, the byproduct of diesel exhaust, are more than 10 to 20 times higher than the state’s health-based air quality benchmarks. Attendees will learn how they can protect themselves and help shape the effort to protect the community. 350Deschutes, a local nonprofit is sponsoring this event.
