MISSION STATEMENT

We are a forest-dependent community; our trails, scenery, clean water, homes, and businesses rely on a healthy forest. The Deschutes Collaborative Forest Project is a group of diverse stakeholders that includes environmentalists, businesspeople, professional foresters, research scientists, loggers, outdoors lovers, private landowners, elected officials, tribal members, and government policymakers. We see that unless we act now to make our forests healthier and more resilient, the lifestyle and special places we all treasure are at risk.

WHAT CAN YOUR DONATIONS DO?

Restoring our dry, fire-adapted forests in Central Oregon is a multi-step process carried out over many years. You donation supports the monitoring, facilitation and outreach to reduce our risk of high-severity wildfire, improve wildlife habitat, support local businesses and keep our communities and firefighters safer.
