In reference to Marilyn Massey and William Castell response to Brent Hawk's letter published 12/24/15: I understand how you might have misunderstood Brent's comment but stop with the racist label. It's annoying. If one wiggles an eyebrow at the wrong time in the wrong way somebody gets their PC back up. What's even more annoying is your "concern" over Bend's population diversity. We have a large population of Native Americans and Hispanics. Also represented are Vietnamese, Chinese, African Americans and Anglo Saxons. Do you need an equal number of each ethnic group to assuage your "concern"? ALL folks are welcome here - Bend s one of the friendliest places around.
