Barack Obama will visit Bend for a "town hall meeting" at Summit High School on Saturday, his campaign headquarters announced less than an hour ago.

Doors will open at Summit High at 9:30 am, with the program scheduled to begin at 11:30 am. The event will be free and open to the public, but space is limited and admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Those wanting to attend can pick up tickets beginning at noon tomorrow (Friday) at the Obama for America Office, 373 NE Greenwood Ave.

The Bend event will be part of a two-day swing through the state during which the Democratic front-runner also will make appearances in Portland, Albany and Eugene.
