I lived in a van in bend for a month this winter, these upper class whote van lifers are such a joke. Just college kids trying to break loose of thier ideals , like most counter culture cliches. They never go past thier comfort zones, besides thier ideas of what the world is. Graphic designers, salesman, they all have a nitche career ... Its really disgusting to see bend push down homless and embrace these millenial van lifers, seriously? How and when did these upper white caucasians come to the conclusion living in a van and saving all your money was a life style, its called minimalist for a reason CAUSE YOU HAVE NOTHING, including money. A surf board sk8 and a bike? Thats just bragging. Hope they figure out theyre living in a suburb with laws that keep homless people on the streets before they become targeted by the cops, OOH WAIT , the cops wont target them cause if your a tourist with money then your ok to break some laws and do some drunk schennnenigens... Utter bullshit.
