Give Guide 2014

The Ripple Effect

We were proud to launch the "Give Guide" last year as an opportunity to introduce local nonprofits to our readers, to highlight the important work they do, and also to encourage you to give money and time to support our community. It was a huge success. And this year, the number of nonprofits involved with the Source's Give Guide has more than doubled!

It is truly amazing to learn about all of the important work being done here in Central Oregon—preserving our natural resources, providing housing, rehabbing animals, offering support for children in need.

Throughout the guide, more than 40 nonprofits explain their missions and let you know precisely how a donation—in any amount—can help them fulfill this mission. Also, to provide more insight into how nonprofits work and what services they provide, we caught up with six executive directors from six nonprofits in Central Oregon.

See the full list of nonprofits, their mission statements and exactly what your money can help them accomplish here.
