When: Second Saturday of every month, 6-8 p.m. Continues through March 9
Drop off the children for a night of yoga, dance, mindfulness, and play designed to cultivate presence of mind, heart, and body. During our first hour together, we’ll introduce concepts of mindfulness in an easy-to-understand and playful way through breath work, games, meditation, stories, and art. We’ll develop children’s body awareness and self-esteem with a 30-minute yoga practice, then allow children the remainder of our time together to dance and play. Children should wear light, comfortable clothing and eat dinner prior to class, as it is not provided. Ages 4-12. Children will be split up into two age groups for the majority of our time together and taught an age-appropriate lesson.
