Yesterday, the Rural Organizing Project, Causa Oregon, PCUN Farmworkers Union and the United Farmworkers kicked off the March for ONE Bus Tour in Bend.
The event's goal is to unite rural communities behind immigration reform, restore driver's licenses and champion fair treatment for all immigrants. 50 Oregonians hopped on a bus that will travel through Oregon's Congressional District 2 for the next five days.
The tour will hold press conferences, vigils, and will offer an opportunity to share stories and meet new allies.
On Tuesday, they held a rally in Bend, stopping at Greg Walden's office and marching through the streets of downtown.
