I've been fighting fires in Central Oregon for 11 years and know a thing or two. Dave is making some pretty bold claims about the Yarnell incident considering he wasn't even there. He definitely likes attention and has very high turnover in his business. I'm not gonna beat around the bush, he is pretty much a joke in the fire world and is just trying to get his name out there by doing this interview for his own personal gain. If you were a real firefighter you would definitely look to learn something from this tragedy but not exploit it for your own personal gain.Shame on you Vitelle. You weren't there!
