If you've never seen Greg Bryce, the man behind Blackflowers Blacksun, in action you should make it to this show, before Bryce heads back to Alaska where he works as a firefighter in the springs and summers. When we ran a feature on this Bay-Area band over the summer, we realized that this is no thrown-together rock act, but rather the charging jam-rock machine fronted by business mogul Roger McNamee, who has gathered a gang of seasoned touring musicians like John Molo and Pete Sears. Deadheads, please come out of your respective hiding spots for this one. Bring a healthy, non-perishable food item to benefit La Pine Community Kitchen. 21 and over. 9pm. Domino Room, 51 NW Greenwood Ave. $10. Tickets at Bendticket.com, Ranch Records and ticketswest.com.

This new five-piece rock act is comprised of a couple members from the now defunct El Dante and other local notable players like Person People's Jared Forqueran and Aaron-Andre Miller, as well as vocalist Stephanie Slade from local band the Sofa Kings.
