HOLIDAY TUNES—After spending the '90s crooning to clubbers in SF, singer-songwriter Storm Large moved to Portland to become a chef—and that's when she landed her big break with her new band, The Balls. Electronica trio Yak Attack will be playing in McMenamins Theater, accompanied by a laser light show by Portland's Brett McConnell. Yak Attack incorporates house, breakbeat, downtempo, jazz and funk in tight compositions and improvisations that'll get you moving.
