Red Wanting Blue TONIGHT

If you love '90s college radio and men in cardigans with beards, you are going to loose it for Red Wanting Blue.

Formed in Athens, OH in 1996, front-man Scott Terry is the underground Hootie (of Blowfish fame). Unsigned until 2010, RWB are the true definition of independent artists. RWB has experienced moderate success in their two-decade career, but never quite hit it big with any of their five studio albums, despite all of the albums kicking serious folk-pop ass.

2012 was a good year for the band. They released a new album called From The Vanishing Point, played the Late Show with David Letterman, the Big Morning Buzz on VH1, and NPR's Mountain Stage alongside Dr.Dog.

Perhaps, 2013 will the year the boys achieve mainstream success. Check out their set tonight at McMenamin's. Then, when you hear one of their songs on the radio in a few months, you'll be able to say, yeah, I saw those guys, FOR FREE. You knew them before they were big, which gives you serious indie cred.

Here is 23 minutes of killer live performance. Watch the video for a taste of what's in store at McMenamin's tonight.
