Sisters Folk Festival Launches New Art Publication

Sisters Folk Festival (SFF) has launched a 64-page art publication, “A Community of Artists,” highlighting the vast artistic talent in our region. Over 100 artists are featured, along with an image of their work, their contact information and gallery representation. The publication is targeted to visitors to Central Oregon and will be widely distributed throughout the area.
The publication was funded in large part by a generous grant from the Roundhouse Foundation and was created to promote the artists who so generously support SFF through donations to My Own Two Hands (MOTH). MOTH is the organization’s annual fundraiser and community celebration of the arts. In 2016, 115 artists donated primarily original work to be auctioned off, raising funds for music and arts education, programming and scholarships. The SFF Board of Directors unanimously approved this publication to help give back to the arts community by providing year-round promotion for the artists and galleries that are the backbone of our creative economy.

The publication can be found in Sisters art galleries and other select gallery locations, restaurants and Sisters-area lodging properties; the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce; Central Oregon Visitors Association; High Desert Museum; and chambers of commerce in Redmond, Bend, and Sunriver. Businesses interested in distributing the publication are encouraged to contact SFF at 541-549-4979 or
