Steve Miller and Peter Frampton are joining forces for another summer tour—and they're making a stop in Bend.
The Steve Miller Band, an integral part of the San Francisco music scene in the late '60s, shook up American culture with their blend of psychedelic blues and Americana roots. Fun fact: Les Paul was Miller's godfather, playing a large role in his development as a musician.
Frampton, known for his solo work as well as a founding member of The Herd and Humble Pie, is a rock music icon. He's collaborated with legends such as George Harrison (personally, my favorite Beatle), David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis and more. His album, "Frampton Comes Alive!" remains one of the top-selling live albums of all time. With any luck, Frampton will serenade the audience with his Talk Box for a song or two.
Steve Miller Band and Peter Frampton will be performing at the Les Schwab Amphitheater on Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 6:30pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 16 at 10am, but if you use the code below, you can purchase your tickets during today's pre-sale until 5pm.
