In the past several years, Oregon has faced historic wildfires which have devastated people and communities, heat waves that harmed wildlife and overwhelmed animal care centers, and severe drought, which is only predicted to get worse. After experiencing this summer’s heat dome across the region, it is no wonder that climate change remains the biggest threat to our environment, wildlife, and communities. So where do we go from here? How do we turn our care and concern into action?
