Nearly ten years ago, a small wolverine population was discovered in Northeast Oregon's Wallowa Mountains. However, since 2012, only a single lone male has been documented roaming the Eagle Cap Wilderness (Stormy). This winter, the Wallowa Wolverine Project begins its second year using remote camera monitoring and snow-tracking to learn more about the status and conservation needs of Oregon's most elusive carnivore. With special guests Scott Shively and Kayla Deher, field biologists for the Wallowa Wolverine Project, we hope you can join us to learn more about this incredible species and how you can advocate for its recovery.
