Weekend Warrior: April 12-14 | Advice & Fun | Bend | The Source Weekly - Bend, Oregon

Your support for independent local news is important.

The Source Weekly has been Central Oregon’s locally owned news outlet for over 23 years. We have always been the definition of "support local." Our success in navigating this new world is tied to the success we experience in pulling together for the common good.

Quality local journalism takes a group of dedicated reporters passionate about democracy and open government. This story is the result of our hard work, and in normal times, the result of the support of the advertisers in Central Oregon. In the age of COVID-19, however, that support has taken a hit—but that’s where you come in.

Weekend Warrior: April 12-14

Supporting good causes while having fun

It's that time of the week again – where you start to ask yourself, "what am I going to do this weekend?" Sometimes our brains don't have enough power left to even begin to think about making plans.

Well, that's where we come in. Here's a bit of what's going on the next few days that can help turn you into a proper Weekend Warrior.

Friday - Comedy Dinner Theater Fundraiser: Chino LaForge

  • Submitted by Beertown Comedy

Dubbed as Maui's best comedian, Chino LaForge will definitely get those laughs going. His honesty and uncut style, sharing stories and perspectives from his life, is refreshing and admirable. Joining LaForge will be musical comedy from Jake Woodmansee & Steven Whitney, plus local comedian Steve Harber. Attendees can also purchase a dinner ticket that includes a fajita bar from
Chef Bradon Jones. Plus, all proceeds from this show go to the National MS Society.
