Gone are the days when reading the newspaper is a one-way conversation.
Oh sure, we have our wonderful blog at the Source, you comment on our FB page and we request tweets from you now and again. But we want to do more!
To take us into the 21st century we're going old school, as in face-to-face conversation. It's weird, we know, but we're not afraid.
Better than a scratch-and-sniff edition, this Monday we debut the Source's monthly Media Salon, a fun opportunity to interact with our reporters and to learn more about the feature stories we bring to life in our weekly editions.
We are thrilled to team up with Broken Top Bottle Shop to create a laid-back, engaging, smart and fun think & drink event.
Join Editor Phil Busse as he Q&As (Oprah-style) with three of women who represent our feature section this week—they're a team of modern moms with wisdom to share. Sarah Daily, founder of Bend Moms for Moms; Summer Ramsey (see Put On the Big Girl Pants, Page 17) and a representative from The Lava City Roller Dolls team.
Show up early to mingle and drink; Media Salon forum starts at 7 pm sharp.
Broken Top Bottle Shop, 1740 NW Pence Lane. Free.
